In February 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued a revised version of the "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades for Information Technology Equipment" (GB 20943 - 2021), which included live broadcast equipment in the mandatory energy efficiency management category. It is required that the standby power consumption of the fill light should not exceed 0.5W, the power density in working mode should be lower than 15W/dm². This policy promotes the development of the fill light industry in the direction of energy saving, and enterprises need to consider energy efficiency indicators during the product design stage.
